Oh, I'm sorry about that! I thought it was June 10th, it's listed as such on the website:

I'll do this tomorrow in my morning, so you can have it ASAP.

Another thing, may I ask you for some recommendations for my trip? Here's where I'd value your opinion:

- I'll land in PKX (Beijing Daxing International Airport right?) on the 25th at 3pm. I will need some rest after a long trip, so I'm thinking staying in Beijing (it's also my first time in China, so I'm good with this). From there I'll go to Beijing and stay there for one night. Any particular area would you recommend? Should I stay close to the train station to take the train next day to Jinan, or is not needed?

- As for Jinan, I'll book the same hotel as the venue, but let me know if I should book something else.

- Is there any plan at the conference on the 28th? I'm considering returning to Beijing either on this night or the 29th in the morning. My flight back is late in the evening on the 29th, so I'm unsure what would be the best plan. Also I'd like to have the chance to visit around Beijing, but realistically I don't have much time anyway for this. Any ideas are welcome :)

Thank you for all your help. Best,

    Álvaro

Dear Alvaro,

Thank you so much for agreeing to come to China for the conference - this is wonderful news and I truly appreciate your commitment.

I have already reserved a speaking slot specifically for you, so please take your time to prepare and submit your talk proposal when convenient. You may also consider submitting multiple proposals so our team can have options to select from.

I will be in China from June 22 to July 10, and I'd love to coordinate our schedules. Here's a preliminary itinerary we're considering:

  • June 27-28: Main conference in Jinan
  • June 29: City tour of Jinan
  • June 30: Meeting at Highgo office
  • Additional time: Business meetings with the Highgo team to discuss potential future collaborations

Please note that you don't need to book the high-speed train from Beijing to Jinan - we will handle that for you. We will also take care of hotel arrangements in Jinan, so no need to book accommodations on your end. Just let us know if the schedule works for you.

Please share your travel schedule and availability so we can finalize the detailed arrangements. We can discuss the specific agenda and logistics in the coming weeks.

Looking forward to seeing you in Jinan!

Best regards,

Grant

    Hi Grant!

I'm almost finalized with my plans and at this point is 99% sure I can make it to the conference :)

Is it too late to submit one or more talks?

    Cheers,

Dear Álvaro,

I wanted to confirm the arrangements we discussed during our chat. Once you arrive in Beijing, we'll take care of everything else, including airport pickup, high-speed train tickets to Jinan, and hotel accommodation. If you have any personal arrangements in Beijing or other cities, you'll need to handle those yourself. We'll also be organizing some activities for small groups.

All the best,

Grant
